WJME boasts the participation of over 500 eminent international jewellery and gold designers and watchmakers from 20 countries from across the world, as well as hundreds of local and international brands.
ECS had announced that it was all set for inauguration of the spring edition of the largest and most important jewellery event in the Middle East, promising to present a glittering version that will contribute to strengthening the country’s position as a global hub for gold and jewellery trade, and keep pace with the growing national demand for gold and jewellery, which increased by 38% to 46.9 tons in 2022 compared to 33.8 tons in 2021.
Sultan Shattaf, Director of Sales and Marketing Department at ECS, said that the number of exhibitors in the current edition exceeded 500 exhibitors, noting that the remarkable increase is attributed to the increased number of international pavilions, and to ECS's keenness to provide an opportunity for the new pioneering countries in the watch and jewellery industry to participate. He added that those countries will bring the most sumptuous and exclusive gold and diamond designs, which clearly show the event's distinction and leading position and enhance its chances of being a big hit.
The exhibition will be open to visitors on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm to 10:00pm, and on Friday from 3:00pm to 10:00pm, where the state-of-the-art designs of gold, jewellery and watches from the most reputed jewellery houses and watchmakers in the world will be displayed.
