Top-notch workshops by Porkrywaka and Lopez at "Xposure 2023"

Sharjah24: There have been a number of outstanding workshops on the first day of "Xposure 23," including one led by photographer Ronald Porkrywaka, who said, "I have been running a couple of workshops, one about photography, and the other on editing shots in Lightroom, to give you tips on photography and switch the focusing from complete automatic to single or continuous focus, whether the subject is moving or not, and then actually changing the area settings so that the subject is in focus whether it is moving or not." That way, you may fine-tune the sharpness of your images by adjusting the focus point to just where you want it.
Briefing on his workshop, University of Miami art professor, fine art photographer, and Cooper fellow J. Tomas Lopez remarked, "I just ended the workshop where I spoke about the winners of this year's contest, and what I talked about was form, content, subject matter, and function." And the topic of discussion turned to how to interpret a picture. If you're trying to figure out how to approach an image, what are some tips for handling its formal aspects and subject matter? I explained the significance of the image and its effect on the viewer.

"Consider honing your knowledge of camera settings and lenses before shifting your focus to the things in life that really inspire you."

The biggest piece of advice I can give to any aspiring photographer is to capture the world through the lens through which they see it and the emotions through which they feel it.
