Sharjah 24: The "Publishers Weekly" magazine lauded the achievements of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi as president of the International Publishers Association in 2021 and 2022, and as vice president in 2019 and 2020, noting her efforts to bring about fundamental change under the leadership of the association, by continuing to increase women's opportunities to assume senior positions in the organisation that was founded in 1896, initiating a trend that continues to this day.
Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi was featured on the cover of Issue 51 of the magazine issued by the Sharjah Book Authority. Furthermore, a poll was released in which several chiefs of publishing unions and bookmakers commended Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi's remarkable experience and the qualitative shift she brought about as the president of the International Publishers Association.

Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi was honoured for her work as the association's president, her support of women in publishing, and her success in reviving the industry globally when Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi was named "Personality of the Year 2022" by the influential American publication "Publishers Weekly," according to the magazine's translation of the declaration.

The Sharjah Book Authority's Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, reflected on Sharjah's participation as "guest of honour" at the 36th edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair, held in Mexico, saying that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, "has guided the Emirate of Sharjah to great success."

The editor-in-chief, Ali Al Ameri, wrote about Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, emphasising that she was the first Arab woman and the second woman in the world to serve as president of the International Publishers Association since its inception in 1896, and that she was able to overcome extraordinary challenges.

The latest edition featured essays and analyses by several authors.
