Sharjah24 - WAM: Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), met with Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma'awali, Chairman of Oman's Shura Council, in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of coordinating their stance on priority issues of mutual concerns at international parliamentary events, in line with the strategic relations between the two countries.
Ghobash said that Emirati-Omani ties are a model of distinguished bilateral relations and noted that they share historic links based on mutual traditions and common goals.
The two sides also discussed ways of boosting the ongoing strategic cooperation between the FNC and Oman’s Shura Council and expressed their views on various topics.
