Sharjah 24 – KUNA: The Turkish Interior Ministry announced Saturday launching a new security operation against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) group in the southeastern Diyarbakir province.
In a press statement, the ministry said 840 security personnel were partaking in the operation.
The forces raided five PKK hideouts and seized 145 kg of drugs in the first day of the operation, it added.
