Sharjah24: The Sharjah men's basketball team lost to its guest team, Al Wasl, with a score of "-89", in the competitions of the 12th round of the preliminary round of the men's basketball league, on Friday evening at the Sharjah Sports Club hall. Despite losing to Al Wasl, Sharjah team continued to maintain the top in the competition.
This season’s competition is played in three stages, the first stage with a two-round league system, the first and second teams qualify directly for the semi-finals, and after determining the positions from the third to the seventh, the rest of the teams play the “quarter-finals”.
There are seven clubs participating in this edition, which are Sharjah, Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Wasl, Al-Nasr, Al-Bataeh, Al-Wahda and Al-Dhafra.
