At the beginning of the meeting, Vystrčil welcomed Ghobash and his accompanying delegation, highlighting the long-standing UAE-Czech relations across various fronts.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation through exchanging visits and enhancing coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest.
They also underscored the importance of unifying positions, visions on various issues of interest across various regional and international parliamentary forums, as well as exchanging experience, knowledge and parliamentary practices, in line with the steadily growing relations between the two countries.
The two sides also affirmed the importance of strengthening the role of parliamentarians in combating terrorism, supporting the efforts of governments to mitigate the repercussions of humanitarian crises, and enhancing cooperation across various fields.
