Sharjah24 – WAM: Maryam Zayed Al Mazrouei, Director of the African Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, attended the reception hosted by Zaake Wanume Kibedi, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the UAE, on the occasion of his country's National Day, which was held in Abu Dhabi in the presence of numerous officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the country.
In her remarks, Al Mazrouei highlighted the strength of UAE-Uganda relations, affirming the keenness of both countries’ leadership to enhance cooperation in a manner that achieves the development goals of the two countries and peoples.
She added that mutual visits and recent meetings between the UAE and the Republic of Uganda have resulted in promising opportunities to continue fostering bilateral relations at the economic, commercial, cultural, developmental, and political levels.
For his part, Kibedi praised the depth of relations between the UAE and the Republic of Uganda, underscoring his country's keenness to strengthen its cooperation with the UAE across various fields to serve common interests.
