Al Jarwan: Bee'ah launches "Recovered Solid Fuel" station

Sharjah24: Bee'ah Group announced launching "Recovered Solid Fuel" station, which is one of the best types of fuel for the cement industry. Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to get close to the event by interviewing Saif Saeed Al-Jarwan, Operations Engineer and Solid Fuel Station Manager, who spared no efforts in shedding light on the event.
Al Jarwan confirmed that Bee’ah has launched the “Recovered Solid Fuel” station, a station that converts industrial and commercial waste residues into high-quality green fuel for use as fuel in cement factories. The station is located in the Bee’ah Waste Management Complex in Al Sajaa area in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Engineer Saif Al Jarwan said in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the "Recovered Solid Fuel" station is one of the 10 waste recycling stations in the Bee'ah complex, and this station diverts 76% of public waste, and the authority is working to raise this percentage to 85 %, and this rate is considered the highest in the Middle East.

Al Jarwan added that the plant currently produces 85,000 tons of alternative green fuels each year, at a rate of about 250 tons per day. Accordingly, an agreement was concluded between Bee’ah Group and Sharjah Cement Company to obtain 73,000 tons annually of green fuel, because the alternative green fuel that the station produces a high-value fuel that has several advantages, including that it is low in moisture and contains very little chlorine, and it is the appropriate fuel in cement production.
