Sharjah Ruler: We launched a new bridging programme at UoS

Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, announced the launch of a new study programme at the University of Sharjah (UoS) named "Catch-up Programmes", which provides Community College's graduates with a grade of "2" an opportunity to improve their grade to 2.5; Thus, they can enroll in the bridging programme at the university, which does not accept less than this grade.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said during a telephone intervention via the 'Direct Line' programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television and hosted by Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, “ The bridging programme at the University of Sharjah for Community College's graduates accepts graduates with an average of 2.5 out of 4, while the graduates who review the “Direct Line” programme in this regard are given an average of 2 only, as they are successfully passed from the Community College, we will launch a new programme for them called “Catch-up Programmes”, so that this programme will serve as an opportunity for them to raise their grade to 2.5 by studying catch-up courses, so that they can join the bridging programme” . 

His Highness concluded his intervention, by saying: “This is an opportunity for  graduates of the Community College who have obtained a percentage of 2, We wish them all the best and success" .
