Sharjah 24: With severe rains battering the eastern coast, especially in the Emirate of Fujairah, which has been affected by heavy rains with unprecedented run-off and flooding of dams, the Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command has initiated the "Loyal Hands" operation to provide fast aid to those who require assistance.
During the "Loyal Hands" operation, which was initiated to help and support local authorities in Fujairah at midnight on Tuesday, a large fleet of equipment, cars, and special vehicles arrived on the emirate's streets.
Heavy and constant rain in the city of Fujairah caused valleys and dams to flood and rainwater to accumulate on highways, damaging several homes and causing numerous vehicles to sink in the water.
