Sharjah24 – Reuters: U.S. First Lady Jill Biden arrived in Madrid on Sunday (June 26) evening, ahead of the NATO Summit.

The first lady, who travelled to Spain ahead of her husband U.S. President Joe Biden, will meet with Spain´s Queen Letizia on Monday (June 27).

She is expected to attend a Royal Gala dinner with her husband on Monday evening, which is being hosted by King Felipe of Spain at Madrid´s Royal Palace to welcome leaders attending the NATO summit.

Amid tight security, leaders of the member countries will meet in Madrid between 29-30 June as the organization faces the unprecedented challenge of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
