Sharjah 24 – WAM: South Korea has recorded 6,842 new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 18,270,481.
In a statement carried by Yonhap News Agency, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said that the country saw 11 new deaths, raising the death toll to 24,427.

As of Saturday, 44.61 million, or 86.9 percent of the population, had completed the full two-dose vaccinations, and 33.34 million, or 65 percent, had received their first booster shots.
