GCC chief denounces Indian remarks against Prophet Muhammad

In a statement, Al-Hajraf expressed a strong rejection to insulting prophets and messengers as well as religious dignitaries.

He affirmed the stance rejecting provocation or targeting religions and beliefs, according to the statement.

Earlier, India's media said that the BJP suspended memberships of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal due to their remarks on a TV programme against the Prophet.
