Sharjah 24: The Acting CEO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority )Shurooq(, Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, opened the exhibition "Towards Time" by Pakistani artist Zara Mahmood at Sharjah's Maraya Art Centre. The exhibition is her first solo UAE exhibition.

During an interview with “Sharjah 24” about her personal exhibition, she stated that she has lived in the UAE for almost three decades and that her exhibits at the Maraya Art Centre show her evolution as an artist and how surfaces have evolved through time, and how the materials she uses have become lighter, which shows in her translucent and light paintings.
