State-run news agency (SPA) said the meeting, which took place last night, touched upon bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides.
A Pakistani foreign office statement had said Sharif and the Saudi leadership would discuss advancing economic, trade and investment ties and creation of greater opportunities for the Pakistani workforce in Saudi Arabia.
This was Sharif's first visit to Saudi Arabia after assuming the Office earlier this month.
Before leaving the country, Sharif described Saudi Arabia as Pakistan's "greatest friends."
