Sharjah24 – AFP: Norway's Havila Voyages cancels a scheduled cruise after 230 passengers were stranded in the port of Bergen for two days, due to uncertainties about how the ship was impacted by sanctions on Russia.
Hedvik Taugl, passenger said,"That was the end of this easter holiday. It was short, but we had a really good time on board. Beautiful boat, good food and lovely crew."
Lasse Vangstein, head of communications for Havila added, "We are sorry, and we need to find a solution so that we can sail again. We are continously working to refinance Havila Capella, which is financed through GTLK, so that we cut all relations to Russia and sanctioned companies."
