According to the UK government, US Trade Representative Katherine Tai will meet with UK International Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan in Baltimore on March 21-22.
The talks would "examine ways in which the United States and the United Kingdom might work to promote common international trade goals".
Since leaving the EU on January 1, 2021, London has signed several international trade treaties, but none with Washington.
President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson adopted a new "Atlantic Charter" last year.
The annual trade between the allies is at £200 billion ($261 billion, 238 billion euros).
A London-Washington free trade pact has long been considered as a Brexit treasure.
In June, the UK and the US agreed to postpone retaliatory tariffs imposed amid a long-running dispute over state aid to Airbus and Boeing.
Retaliatory duties on items like Scotch whisky were also suspended.
The two countries are also discussing steel and aluminium tariffs.
