Sharjah24 – AFP: France can welcome "at least 100,000 Ukrainians", says President Emmanuel Macron during a visit to a refugee welcome centre in Maine-et-Loire. The French president also reacted to the revelations of the online media Disclose on the delivery by France of at least 76 export licences for war material to Russia since 2015.
Commenting on this, Emmanuel Macron, French President said,"We have had war for several weeks now, unfortunately, it has returned to Europe. There are more than 3 million Ukrainian men and women who have fled their country because of the bombs and the Russian aggression. And these men and women are fleeing across Europe, and I know that our duty is to be able to welcome them and protect them in the best possible conditions."

The French President added, "We have put ourselves in a position to be able to receive at least 100,000 Ukrainians, but we will do our part, and we will protect those who arrive on our soil, and we will also have to show solidarity with the countries that are currently under the most pressure. We have made commitments, in particular to Moldova, which has received many refugees in recent weeks, and which we will help in the coming days."
