Sharjah24 – AFP: Thousands of supporters of the government march through Caracas on World Youth Day, a major annual event in Venezuela, showing their support for President Nicolas Maduro as the opposition demonstration drew some 500 people.
Maria Amatima, Pro-government said,"We have already celebrated 208 years of the battle of La Victoria in which this combative youth, this brave youth, who continue to fight for our dream, who continue to fight for the homeland that we want, because we believe in the production of the country, because we believe in the rise of the power that is Venezuela, we continue to move forward."
Commenting on this, Maribel Pena, Public administrator, anti-government added, "While all of this happens, we are suffering hunger, needs, food, education, everything is declining and we are all quiet. I at least, as a housewife, as a mother, as a grandmother, as a Venezuelan citizen, I ask the people of Venezuela to take to the streets, to wake up, that we don't stay idle, we are too asleep."
