Sharjah24 – AFP: Prime Minister Najib Mikati says Lebanon still has a "long road ahead" after his cabinet approved the budget for this year, stressing that the focus will be on the economic recovery plan for the crisis-hit country.
Commenting on this, Najib Mikati, Lebanon's Prime Minister said, "We still have a long road ahead. We have (to work on) the economic recovery plan, which is the basis for discussion with the International Monetary Fund."
The Lebanon's Prime Minister added, "We have a lot of work to do after completing the budget, which involves focusing on the economic recovery plan. After that, we enter a second stage which is the discussions with the Eurobond holders so that we can reach a settlement with them. And then, we have to work on the restructuring of the banks in general."
