Britain's Justice Secretary and deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab appearing on the BBC
Sharjah 24 – KUNA: British Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Justice, Dominic Raab, on Sunday said that the UK will stand "shoulder to shoulder" with Ukraine but it is "extremely unlikely" British troops will be sent to this country's borders.
This came in a statement for Sky News, as he said, "we will support them in defending themselves." "To the international community, to NATO allies in the West, we're standing shoulder to shoulder saying there will be very serious consequences if Russia takes this move to try and invade and also install a puppet regime," he added.

His remarks coincided with Russian troop buildup along the Russia-Ukraine borders in a move widely eyed as a prelude to invading Ukraine.
