Sharjah24 – Reuters: Two Russian cosmonauts conducted a spacewalk at the International Space Station (ISS) on Wednesday (January 19) to outfit and configure the Nauka Multipurpose Laboratory Module to lay the groundwork for future operations.
The two spacewalkers, Mission Commander Anton Shkaplerov and flight engineer Pyotr Dubrov were scheduled to spend about seven hours outside the ISS to install handrails, antennas and cables to allow the ISS to accept visiting spacecraft later this year.
