Sharjah24 – Reuters: A Bangkok cafe with some 110 birds has opened its doors for customers to have a chance to get up close with them and other feathered animals.
Co-owner of the cafe, called 'Happy Bird's Day', Thanakrit Soontornkallapakit described it as a unique experience to interact with birds.
The cafe mainly houses colourful monk parakeets, conures, some nightingale birds and two sulphur-crested cockatoos. Besides this, there are six ducks and eight chickens for customers to get acquainted with.
The owners said it took them three years to plan and prepare before opening the cafe. Customers pay a little over $10 as entrance fee and can stay as long as they want.
