"Antigua and Barbuda's pavilion is displaying the culture of Antigua and Barbuda, the Eastern Caribbean's twin-island paradise," she explained. Together, the two Islands form an English-speaking country that was formerly a British colony. The country gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1981 and marked the occasion on November 1st with a 40th anniversary celebration.
Antigua and Barbuda are both tourist destinations, and the pavilion is brimming with information about the island's tourism attractions, which range from UNESCO World Heritage sites l, like Nelson’s Dockyard and archaeological sites. Barbuda; Barbuda's sister island is renowned for its pink sandy beaches and frigate bird sanctuary; the Western hemisphere's largest frigate bird sanctuary.
Because the island is part of the Caribbean, and the inhabitants of the Caribbean appreciate music, visitors to the pavilion will hear traditional music both inside and outside the pavilion, as well as Siobhan music."
