Sharjah24 - WAM: India reported 117,100 new COVID-19 cases and 302 related deaths in the last 24 hours, with the Omicron variant tally exceeding 3,000, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Friday.
With this, the country's COVID-19 tally has risen to 35,226,386 while the death toll has mounted to 483,178, ANI reported.

The health ministry further said that there are 3,007 Omicron cases in India so far, of which 1,199 have been recovered.

With the recovery of 30,836 patients in the last 24 hours, the cumulative tally of COVID recovered patients, since the beginning of the pandemic, now stands at 34,371,845.
