Sharjah24 – AFP: One of the world's most famous storytellers, Hans Christian Andersen (HCA) is being celebrated in his hometown of Odense (central Denmark) with a new museum designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, which combines biographical elements with a fantasy world.
"When you enter this museum, you are transported to a completely different world and it is fantastic to be taken away from your struggles in life," says one visitor.

Lone Weidemann, spokesperson, Hans Christian Andersen house said, "We felt that people visiting the old museum, they were looking for something more. It was traditional biography museum where you had a lot of things, artefacts, and then text. People were looking for his fairy tales because that's what they know. It's his fairy tales. They need the fantasy and his inspiration in the daily life. "

Commenting on this, Ara Halici, Dutch tourist pointed out, "When you come into this museum, it takes you to a completely other world and how fantastic is it to be taken away from your daily struggles in life, corona-bullshit, and be taken away into a completely other world."

The Dutch tourist added, "You put the headphones on, and you're gone for like, an hour. So yeah, I think you must have a black soul if you don't enjoy this museum."

Jonna Vind, Danish visitor said,"I would recommend just the experience of the rooms together with the architecture together with the sound and music, it's a whole experience I think. That binds together all the senses. And how it the room talks, so beautiful together with stories."
