Sharjah24 – Reuters: Netflix's hit science fiction series "Stranger Things" comes to life in a pop-up store in New York's Times Square, featuring renditions of the show's iconic settings like Joyce's living room, the Upside Down, the Palace Arcade and the Starcourt Mall.
The store has collectible action figures, mugs, shirts and memorabilia for sale.

"Stranger Things" became an overnight success for streaming service Netflix, when it was launched in 2016 with a supernatural demon called a Demogorgon terrorizing the town of Hawkins, Indiana, town boy Will Byers's (Noah Schnapp) disappearance, a mysterious, tormented girl with superpowers, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and a decaying parallel universe called the Upside Down set in the '80s.

The pop-up store opened on November 6, dubbed "Stranger Things Day," when Will Byers disappeared on Nov. 6, 1983.

Created by the Duffer brothers, Matt and Ross, the series has been nominated for Emmys, Golden Globes and won the best ensemble in a drama series at the SAG Awards in 2017.

Season 4 of "Stranger Things" will be released on Netflix next summer.
