Sharjah24 – Reuters: Jordanian classic car collector Aiman Qusous first developed his passion for cars as a young boy. Today, he boasts a collection of more than 30 classic vehicles.
Citing memories of his late father who used to own beautiful cars, the 57-year-old traces his interest to his childhood, when he got to enjoy looking at them but was never allowed to drive them.

Qusous bought his first car, a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL, in 2005 from Dubai and since then grew his collection to 33 vehicles. Their prices range from $30,000 to $300,000.

Describing his cars as close to heart, Qusous says each one of them has a story.

"It might be of a certain trip, of a friend who sold a car which I bought, and some cars were featured in famous movies whether American or European," he said.

His plan is to open a museum within the coming years to properly preserve his collection and maintain its value.

The car enthusiast won numerous local and regional awards for the good condition of his cars.

Qusous not only enjoys maintaining his cars but also driving them, excited to see the joy and wonder they evoke among passersby.
