Sharjah24 – Reuters: Dalgona candy, coffins with ribbons and pink guards wearing masks - inspired by Netflix’s hit show, a pet store owner in South Korea baked Squid Game-themed dog treats on Tuesday (October 26) to get into the Halloween spirit.
Lee Jin-sun, who runs a cooking studio for dog food in Seoul, says this year she decided to open a special baking class for Netflix's Squid Game fans.
"We can't go Halloween parties these days (due to COVID-19). So, after watching the Squid Game, I came up with the idea of making these cookies which my dog loves," said Lee.
Lee and her student Hwang Hye-won made the homemade style cookies with rice powder, beetroot, coconut, carob powder, eggs and olive oil.
"It's like a dog version of Squid Game. It's so much fun and seems like he (dog) loves it too," said Hwang Hye-won, after feeding the dog dalgona shaped cookies.
'Squid Game' has been watched by 142 million households since its September 17 debut, helping Netflix add 4.38 million new subscribers.
