Irish Pavilion in Expo 2020 introduces Ireland’s welcoming people

Sharjah 24: In the sidelines of various events witnessed in the Expo 2020 Dubai, Pat Hennessy, Commissioner General of Irish Pavilion, stated that the Pavilion of Ireland combines Celtic and Arabic influences. The Celtic area includes the "Oculus”, showing a movie that tells the story of Ireland and introduces the concept of Ireland as an island of inspiration.
The Commissioner General of Irish Pavilion added in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the message of the pavilion in Expo 2020, aims to represent the Irish as creative people. The pavilion’s other section, the “Maker’s Gallery”, allows the visitors to be acquainted with the work of Irish artists and designers, working in glass, wood, and metal. In addition, to people working in technology, space research, medical innovation, and many other areas. This comes to exemplify the uniqueness of the Irish people.

He also touched on the pavilion’s performance area, which hosts young Irish musicians, who are on stage every afternoon, giving visitors a very warm welcome.
