Saudi-led Yemen coalition intercepts bomb drone on south kingdom

The coalition was quoted by the Saudi official news agency as saying that it had intercepted a booby-trapped drone targeting the Saudi city of Jazan.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Civil Defence Directorate said it had received a number of reports of the fall and scattering of shrapnel in a residential neighborhood in Uhud Al-Masarha governorate of Jazan region.

This came following the coalition's interception of the booby-trapped drone launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the Kingdom, which caused material damage to several houses and shops, it added.
