Sharjah24 - AFP: Australia is ready to gradually reopen its borders, the country's prime minister said Friday, 18 months after citizens were banned from travelling overseas without permission.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Australians would be able to return home and travel overseas "within weeks" as 80 percent vaccination targets are met.
Commenting on this, Scott Morrison added that it is time to "give Australians their lives back" as he announces the country will begin to reopen its border next month, after an 18-months closure to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
