The OIC Secretariat General announced in a statement on Saturday that the special meeting would be held upon an invitation by member state Saudi Arabia.
The conferees will discuss current conditions and events in Afghanistan, it affirmed.
The meeting will be held at the level of permanent delegates at the Secretariat General headquarters in the Red Sea city of Jeddah.
