Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Kuwait's daily coronavirus cases rose by 226 to 407,878 as deaths increased by two to 2,401, according to the health ministry on Friday.
Another 618 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 400,148, ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad said in a statement.

The number of people hospitalised with the virus currently stands at 340, with 173 of them in intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 5,329 are receiving regular treatment.

Some 11,934 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 3,655,034, mentioned the official.
