Sharjah24 – AFP: The Dutch government announces that it hopes to be able to drop all coronavirus restrictions by November 1 if Covid-19 case numbers allow it.
Hugo de Jonge , Dutch Health Minister  said, "We are all waiting for the moment when we can lift these last restrictions as well. We expect it to be this fall, it could be on November 1, for example. But this is not yet certain."

Mark Rutte, Dutch Prime Minister also pointed out, "And we hope to be able to take the next step from Monday, September 20 and drop social distancing throughout society. With this step, other restrictions will also be dropped, such as the obligation to wear a mask on public transport and the recommendation to work from home."

The Dutch Prime Minister added, "And just, to be clear, today's decisions unfortunately mean that the rules for the catering, event industry and theaters, cinemas and concert halls will remain as they are until at least September 20. Thus cafes and restaurants are closed from midnight to 6 a.m. No loud music, no live music and no big screens. And for events, no multi-day festivals with overnight stays, maximum 750 visitors per outdoor event without seats and the rules currently applicable for venues with seats still apply."
