COVID-19 claims 65 lives in Iraq, sickens 7,610 others

Sharjah 24 – KUNA: The Iraqi Ministry of Health recorded on Saturday 65 additional COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, with 7,610 new cases.
The Iraqi capital of Baghdad had the most cases with 1,981, then Basra governorate with 917 sickened, followed by Wasit governorate with 657, then the rest of the cases were scattered all over other areas, while the number of people who received the vaccine was 2,503,335 people thus far, the ministry said in a statement.

Total cases increased to 1,768,753; of which 19,606 died, nevertheless 10,078 patients recovered nationwide, increasing the number of healed cases to 1,586,671.
