Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Indian government sources said on Saturday that 617 people died due to COVID-19 as 38,628 new positive cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours.
Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that deaths due to COVID-19 mounted to 427,371 while the cumulative positive cases rose to 31,895,385.
The Indian health ministry said that 31,055,861 people recuperated from the pandemic as the second wave hit the nation unprepared.
