Sharjah 24 – SPA: Jordanian Ministry of Health decided to reduce the age to receive Covid-19 vaccination to 12 years, starting Sunday, without prior appointment.
In a press statement on Saturday, the ministry said vaccination will be administered "optionally" using Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, specifically for recipients under the age of 18, with consent of the guardian.
The statement added that the first-dose immunization centers and the jab type will be announced daily on the ministry's website, its social media accounts, and media outlets.
