Sharjah 24 – SPA: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday affirmed keenness on safety of the pilgrims and preventing the novel coronavirus from spreading any further with a series of regulatory and preventive measures during the hajj.
As quoted by the official Saudi Press Agency, the monarch congratulated pilgrims, security personnel, citizens, residents of the kingdom and the whole Muslim nation on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

The King has affirmed that the hajj authorities have applied electronic systems to minimise dependence on personnel reaffirming keenness on protecting the devotees against infections with the novel coronavirus (covid-19).

The kingdom has succeeded in boosting the community immunity by providing 22 million doses of the anti-covid vaccines to citizens and residents, the king said.
