Germany's COVID-19 cases rise by 1,076, Delta spreads rapidly

Sharjah 24 – SPA: The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 1,076, data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases showed on Friday.
The reported death toll rose by 91, the tally showed.

Meanwhile, the Delta strain of coronavirus has been spreading wildly, according to the Robert Koch Institute, which said that the new strain recorded several cases, which require being more cautious.

The Delta strain probably spread rapidly due to the fast infection from one person to another, German media group (Gruppe Funke) official said.

He also stressed wearing facemasks in public areas, besides counseling not to rush in lifting the ban.
