Sharjah24 – Reuters: Walt Disney Pictures released a first look at the most ancient superheroes in the Marvel cinematic universe (MCU) when they dropped the trailer for 'Eternals' on Monday (May 24).
'Eternals' is the first big budget feature film to be helmed by recent Oscar winning director Chloe Zhao ('Nomadland').

The film introduces audiences to a slew of new characters who have existed in the comic books since 1976 but have lived on earth for millennia.

These include Thena (Angelina Jolie), Ajak (Salma Hayek), Sersi (Gemma Chan), Ikaris (Richard Madden) and Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) among others.

The premise for the Eternals is that they are a long-living alien race. They have lived hidden alongside humanity but have guided them throughout the centuries.

The film is reported to show the characters come out of hiding after the events of 'Avengers Endgame'.

'Eternals' is set for a theatrical release in November.
