Iraq registers 40 deaths, 5,379 coronavirus infections

Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Iraqi Health Ministry announced Saturday registering 40 deaths and 5,379 coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the ministry said that it recorded the highest number of coronavirus infections in the capital Baghdad with 1,869 cases.

Moreover, 773,232 people were recovered and tested negative for the virus. Meanwhile, total infections rose up to reach 868,200 cases and 14,430 overall deaths.
