Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Jordan on Thursday recorded 96 deaths and 8,433 new cases of COVID-19.
A joint statement by the Premiership and Ministry of Health said the total number of deaths recorded sums up to 6,277 while cases accumulate to 571,290.

Additionally, recoveries including hospitalised and isolated cases are at 7,705 for Thursday, to total 463,893 cured, while there are 3,372 cases receiving treatment at hospitals. The authorities also underwent around 47,000 COVID-19 tests today of which 18 percent of the results were positive, which puts the total number of tests done at 5.664 million.

Jordan is currently implementing a full lockdown routine to counter spread of the virus every Friday and a daily partial lockdown starting at 6 p.m. for facilities and from 7 p.m. for the public till 6 a.m.
