Sharjah 24 – SPA: UN Security Council condemned the escalation in Marib, which puts the lives of one million displaced people in grave danger, and threatens efforts to secure a political settlement at a time when the international community is increasingly united to end the conflict in Yemen.
In a statement issued, the council condemned cross-border attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing concern over the military developments in various parts of Yemen.
The council stressed the need to de-escalation by all, including an immediate end to the Houthi escalation in Marib. They also condemned the use of child soldiers in Marib.
