Sharjah24: Society does not grow and progress except through concerted efforts. We notice in Western countries that there are all projects that deal with society. They are all donations and all are volunteering. We want to plant the issue of volunteering in this community. We want to start school. We teach this child to volunteer with his time and effort, and this will grow with him, God willing."
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, at the launch of the Pink Caravan 2020.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah affirms a number of important main points, in his speech to the volunteers of the Pink Caravan, that community health project that was launched from Sharjah to achieve great successes and provides its services as a true model to all parts of the Emirates. These points, which His Highness talked about, derive their importance from the fact that they open up wide fields towards raising society, its future, and teaching children to love the nation and serve it free of charge.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah sends, through his speech, multiple messages that provide a summary of the distinguished community experiences and models, the Pink Caravan being one of these programmes that took the characteristic of volunteering and donating to serve the people, and they are two of the best human qualities, which if available, every member of society can contribute what He and his family are accustomed to benefit, and to reform the whole society, from its full capabilities in various fields.
With a careful reading of his speech, we find confirmation that society needs the efforts of all its members, their energies and interests, and that the best education is to instill virtuous values and love of the homeland from a young age, so that children grow up in love with it, which indicates the need to work with children as they are the men and women of tomorrow and the future. These affirmations are clear features of the path that society must follow, which is the summary of human and international experiences in the world, which reflects the continuous and permanent pursuit of the most effective ways and means for society to follow, rise and develop.
In conclusion, another lesson from moral, value and patriotic education is that His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, during his celebration of the Pink Caravan, stresses the importance of donating and volunteering and raising children on it, because of its great benefits to society and the individual himself, as well as urging the education of the child and alerting him to the importance of time and community service, which is the basis of national education.
