Al Khalidiya District Council receives COVID-19 vaccine

His Excellency praised the directives of the UAE leadership to confront the coronavirus.

His Excellency also expressed appreciation for all the efforts of MoHAP and the services it provides to facilitate the receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This came during the visit of Al Marri, on Tuesday, accompanied by top officials to the headquarters of the Expo Centre Sharjah designated by MoHAP to provide the COVID-19 vaccine.

The delegation of Al Khalidiya District Council met with His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Zarooni, Director of Sharjah Medical District. Al Zarooni briefed them on the various services provided by MoHAP to receive those wishing to receive COVID-19 vaccine. Such endeavour is one of the most important means taken by the wise leadership to ensure people’s health and safety, with regard to the repercussions of COVID-19.

After that, Al Khalidiya District Council delegation received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of the vaccination campaign carried out by MoHAP at Expo Centre Sharjah amid high medical care.

The Chairman of Al Khalidiya District Council called upon members of society to take the vaccination, within the framework of strengthening the country's policies in spreading health and safety for all.

His Excellency praised the efforts of the Director of the Sharjah Medical District and MoHAP in organising vaccination campaigns and the national role in securing free vaccination opportunities according to the directives of the wise leadership.

His Excellency pointed out that receiving the vaccine represents an invitation to all the people of the district to take the vaccine, with the aim of providing the highest standards of health and safety for all members of society.
