Al Asoumi seconds the tripartite summit in Abu Dhabi

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Adel Abdel Rahman Al Asoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, valued the tripartite summit held between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in the presence of His Royal Highness HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Deputy King, Crown Prince of Bahrain, which was held in Abu Dhabi.
The President of the Arab Parliament welcomed the results of the Summit, during which their Majesties and Highnesses touched on regional and international developments, including the Palestinian cause and the need to realise just and comprehensive peace based on the two-State solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian State on the borders of 4 June 1967 and its capital Jerusalem, in addition to their agreement on ways to develop cooperation and integration in a number of vital sectors, and to coordinate joint efforts to confront the Corona epidemic crisis and deal with its economic, health and social repercussions.

Al Asoumi stressed the importance of the Summit timing, whereas the Arab countries urgently need to support and consolidate the mechanism of consultation and coordination on issues of common concern serving the interests of Arab peoples and fulfilling their aspirations for security, development and stability.  They also stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultations among the Arab countries on various issues of common interest, in a way that serves the Arab causes.
