Sinbad suffered a recent stroke. The comedian’s family released a statement confirming the news on Monday. “It is out of sincere love that we share Sinbad, our beloved husband and father, is recovering from a recent stroke,” his family told Variety. “Sinbad is a light source of love and joy for many generations. While he is beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon.”

Grey’s Anatomy fans were thrilled when a beloved fan favorite appeared during the season 17 premiere of the medical drama. Patrick Dempsey returned as Derek Shepherd. Derek died in a 2015 episode of the show. He appears in Ellen Pompeo’s character Meredith Grey’s imagination in a dream sequence. Show runner Krista Vernoff told the Los Angeles Times, “This was not just a cameo. He will appear three more times. “

Britney Spears’ lawyer said that “she is afraid of her father” and that “she will not perform again if her father is in charge of her career.” The pop stars request to remove her father James as her co-conservator has been denied by Los Angeles Judge Brenda Penny. The court declined to suspend James Spears from his conservatorship , though she did not rule out future petitions for his removal or suspension.

Selena Gomez is set to star in a biopic about Peruvian mountaineer Silvia Vásquez-Lavado. The film titled In the Shadow of the Mountain is based on the upcoming memoir of the same name.
