Sharjah 24 – KUNA: The Palestinian Minister of Health Dr. Mai Al-Kaila announced on Monday six COVID-19 deaths, 680 new infections and 470 additional recoveries were registered in a span of 24 hours.

This shows that the virus has a recovery rate of 88.1 percent, while 11.1 percent of the cases were active infections.

Nonetheless, 41 patients were in intensive care, she mentioned.

Meanwhile, it was decided to put stricter restrictions on public life to contain the virus such as wearing masks, avoiding crowds and stopping weddings and funeral homes, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said at the start of the cabinet meeting.
